HOW TO REGISTER

Nota Bene : Regardless of the registration category you sign up for (ESCD or GERDA), you will be able to attend sessions scheduled in both the ESCD and the GERDA programmes and this according to your preference (with the exception of the 15th September pre-symposium/workshops for which session selection and pre-registration are required)

Be aware! The registration fees to attend the ESCD or the GERDA courses allow you to attend both events!

Access to all sessions and all event activities is subject to registration. Participants are encouraged to register in advance and as early as possible in order to benefit from lower registration fees, have wider hotel accommodation choice and social events availability.

You can register by the two following ways (all payment methods are accepted: check, bank transfer or credit card - VISA, MASTERCARD, EUROCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS):

  1. by secure online registration and payment
  2. by fax or post. Click here to download the registration form, complete it and send it to the Secretariat accompanied by the payment.

Registration requests or changes by phone will not be processed.

Upon receipt of your registration and after payment clearance, the Secretariat will mail you an invoice/confirmation letter (or email) summarizing all registration and accommodation details and specifying payment status as well as Value Added Tax (VAT) amounts.

This confirmation letter (or email) should be presented upon arrival at the pre-registration desk.

1) To qualify for Resident / Nurse fees, the applicant‘s registration form must be accompanied by written proof of status.
2) For this pre-symposium registration fee, the applicant must be regularly registered to the Congress.
3) This fee is applicable to those participants wishing to attend the pre-symposium ONLY. This fee does not allow access to any other sessions / activities / social events of the Congress.

IMPORTANT: LIMITED NUMBER OF SEATS FOR THE ESCD PRE-SYMPOSIUM.
Requests will be treated by the Organising Secretariat on a first come first served basis.

Participants / ESCD Member / Resident-Nurse registration fees include:

  • Admission to the scientific sessions
  • Access to posters and exhibition areas
  • Admission to the Welcome Reception and Farewell drink
  • Congress documents (final programme, Congress bag, abstracts book)
  • Lunches, morning and afternoon breaks on days


PAYMENT METHODS

The ESCD has given a mandate to MCI for the full organisation of the ESCD-GERDA 2010 Event. MCI is the sole competent company to receive payments for this event and to act on behalf of the ESCD for the whole organisation (conference & exhibition).

All payments must be sent to the Secretariat in EUROS (€) and by the following means:

  • check payable in Euros (€) to the order of ESCD-GERDA 2010 – MCI
  • credit card: VISA / MASTERCARD / EUROCARD / AMERICAN EXPRESS (no other cards accepted)
  • bank transfer to the order of ESCD-GERDA 2010 – MCI to:

(Copy of the bank transfer must be sent along with the registration form. Do not forget to mention on the bank transfer order the name of the person you are paying for)


MODIFICATIONS / NAME SUBSTITUTIONS

For changes in registration, a processing fee of 30€ will be charged, except for name substitutions which will be treated as new registrations.
All changes must be requested in writing to the Organising Secretariat.


CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be notified in writing (by mail or fax BUT NOT email) to the Secretariat and are subject to the following conditions:

  • Up to June 30th, 2010: 100€ will be withheld for administrative fee.
  • After June 30th, 2010: no refunds will be issued.

No registration fee refunds will be issued for cancellation or non-attendance due to failure to obtain a visa.
Requests for refunds received by the Congress secretariat after 30th October 2010 will not be considered.
