PRACTICAL INFORMATION

ACCESS

The nearest tramway stations are: “Wacken” and “Lycée Kleber” (line B, Hoenheim Gare direction):

By tramway:
• from the Airport (30mins ride): take the “RegionalExpress” to the train station and then take Tramway B.
• from the train station (15mins ride): take Tramway B.

By car:
A free of charge parking area is located next to the Congress Centre, in front of the “Schweitzer” entry:
• from the airport: 20-30 minutes drive
• from the train station 10-20 minutes drive

CELLULAR PHONES

Participants are kindly requested to turn off their mobile phones when entering the meeting rooms and in the poster area.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE

A certificate of attendance is provided to all pre-registered and on-site registered attendees.

CLIMATE

The weather can range from hot summertime temperatures to characteristically cool fall nights. Average low is 11°C and the average high temperature is 25°C.

CLOAKROOM

A cloakroom is at the attendees’ disposal, free of charge, in front of the Welcome desk on ground floor. Opening times are the same as sessions / Welcome desk hours.

CONGRESS BAG

Each participant is entitled to a Congress bag that has to be collected at the Welcome desk area.

DISABLED PERSONS ACCESS

All spaces occupied by the meeting at the Palais des Congrès as well as at the social events venues are accessible for disabled persons. For any questions/assistance please
contact the organisation team at the congress Welcome Desk.

DUPLICATION, RECORDING, PHOTOS

Photography, audio-taping, video-recording, digital taping or any other form of duplication is strictly prohibited in the session room and poster areas.

ELECTRICITY

Electricity used in France is 220 Volts; its frequency is 50 Hz. You might need a transformer for your electrical or electronic equipment using different voltage.

INTERNET

Free wireless internet access is available in the Contades rest area as well as in Agora. Participants and exhibitors will be able to use their own laptops and connect to internet.

LOST AND FOUND

Lost items should be returned to the Congress Welcome Desk.
Should you loose anything, please report to this desk for assistance.

LUNCHES AND BREAKS.

Lunches, morning and afternoon breaks are included depending on the registration fee category. They are served in the Agora and Forum areas of the Palais des Congrès, where the exhibition and poster display are held

PRE-VIEW ROOM - STUTTGART ROOM

Located on the 1st floor. This room is open at the following times:
• WEDNESDAY 15th SEPTEMBER 2010 from 9H30 to 18H00
• THURSDAY 16th SEPTEMBER 2010 from 7H30 to 18H00
• FRIDAY 17th SEPTEMBER 2010 from 7H30 to 18H00
• SATURDAY 18th SEPTEMBER 2010 from 7H30 to 13H00

All presentations must be in English.
Each speaker should also verify in the final programme that the time of his/her session(s) has not changed.

REST AREA

A rest area is made available to participants and exhibitors in the Contades room on Thursday the 16th and Friday the 17th September only at the opening hours of the sessions/Welcome desk.

Please note that smoking is prohibited by law within the Congress premises and in social events venues.
