HOW TO GET TO STRASBOURG
Rail access
With the arrival of the TGV (high-speed train) in June 2007, overnight Strasbourg and its Conference Centre will benefit from far easier access to numerous international cities and airports. The city is at the meeting point of two long-distance high-speed rail lines: the "Magistrale" running from Paris to Budapest via Strasbourg, Munich and Vienna, in addition to the North Sea-Mediterranean line which will link Hamburg to Marseille travelling via Frankfurt, Strasbourg and Lyon.

 For the train transportation, the SNCF (French Railway Network) is the official partner of the Congress. A discount of 20% can be obtained for participants travelling within France to Strasbourg by train on the occasion of the Congress. Access by air
Located just 20 minutes from the Conference Centre, Strasbourg-Entzheim international airport offers an ever-increasing choice of flights to the main French and European cities.
30 destinations served by direct flights from Strasbourg International airport:

- 16 towns and cities of the European Union served by regular flights, and 9 by charter flights.
The proximity of Frankfurt and Zürich airports, (less than 2 hours away by road), of the Basel-Mulhouse Euro-Airport (1 hour 15 minutes away) and of the Baden Airpark (45 minutes away) has significantly improved access to intercontinental flights.
 Air France and its affiliated companies world-wide have been nominated Official Airline for the ESCD-GERDA 2010 Meeting. Discounts are applied to a wide range of airfares, in all classes of travel (Espace Première FIRST, Espace Affaires BUSINESS, Tempo COACH) on all Air France flights worldwide.
