Strasbourg holds pride of place within a dynamic Europe and has found a gentle balance between its future and
its past; innovation and tradition; global trends and local custom. This perfect blend makes Strasbourg a very
vibrant place which offers the visitor a multitude of leisure, business and learning opportunities.
The majestic Notre Dame Cathedral, a living symbol of Gothic architecture and the works of art in the old town,
inscribed on UNESCO’s world heritage list, are part of the highlights you will discover by peacefully strolling
around the city centre.
Having always stood at a cultural crossroads, Strasbourg
is also home to some key international institutions like
the European Parliament, the Council of Europe, the
European Court of Human Rights, the European
Pharmacopoeia, the European Science Foundation and
the International Space University.
Last but not least, a few words must be mentioned
about the exquisite local gastronomy which will
undoubtedly be part of your Alsatian experience.
Enjoy Strasbourg!
The fully renovated Palais des Congrès is ideally located in
the heart of the European district, a stone’s throw from the
Parliament. The Convention centre is supported by the latest
technology and features an impressive glass architecture
favouring natural daylight within the areas.
